I bought a Happi for my Husband as he wanted a lighter weight dressing gown for summer and he ( being an ex martial artist), has always liked Japanese clothing. He absolutely loves it. The fabric is of a really good quality and the stitching is well executed.

How nice to find a website offering good quality and unique gifts for men. Arrived wrapped in tissue paper and I think it will be a very well received Christmas present.

Exactly. Loops for the belt would be a nice addition but I've added some.
Thank you for your review...belt loops are a thorny issue. As these are traditional Japanese garments, there are no belt loops. In Japan the belt is worn quite low, on the hip, whereas we suspect most Westerners would wear it higher, on the waist...so any belt loops would be in the wrong place. Thank you for adding your own - that is the best solution (for those who need some tips, there are plenty of YouTube videos showing how to add belt loops solely with sewing thread). Kind regards, Curtis.
